White Shaker Peg Racks - Solid Hardwood Construction - Made in the USA

It seems I have had Shaker peg racks from Peg and Rail for perhaps a couple of decades. For sure, I first had natural-colored ones when I lived in an apartment. So easy to install and not damage the landlord's walls. And now I have many white ones in my small home. They are beautiful. I could find no similar ones with as good of quality and looks in local stores or on-line sources. They serve many purposes. The greatest, most recent additions have been 5-foot ones on the bedroom walls near the hallway where the washer and dryer are stacked. This way, I can hang clothes that are not completely dry on the racks, letting them finish drying and saving a little energy. And I can hang clothes there for regular purposes, too. If anyone ever asks me for a source of peg racks, I will heartily point them to Peg and Rail.

I absolutely love my new white shaker peg rack. I just moved into a new apartment that did not have a coat closet. I hung my rack near the front entry door. I hang my purse, keys and jacket on my rack. All my daily use items now have a home. My new rack keeps everything nice and organized. The rack is well built and attractive. My pegs are great. They are well crafted and easy to hang. My have them hung in a bathroom for towels and in our master closet for robes and slightly worn clothes. So far they are sturdy and very functional.

I found Ed and Peg and Rail on Remodelista and so happy I did! Ed was so accommodating and his craftsmanship is excellent. Prior to ordering, I located the studs in the wall where the peg rail was going to be installed. I contacted Ed and he was able to pre-drill the holes accordingly. It worked out great. I ordered a second 10-peg rail from Peg and Rail I love the original one so much. It’s lovely without clothes hanging on the pegs and it’s wonderfully orderly when it’s full of coats or jackets and miscellaneous things. I have bought these over the years as we moved and needed in a closet, bath, or garage. They are perfect and so well made. Finish is superb. Well handcrafted!

Not really much more cost than something from Target, but so much more in terms of quality, workmanship and loveliness. I will say there was a slight odor of paint on opening the shipping box. If you are sensitive to that, just keep it in the basement/garage/sunroom for a few days and you'll be good to go. Very pleased with this purchase. Thank you!
